Since 2011, Susan’s students have studied singing in her comfortable private studio in north central Edmonton, with easy access from Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, and St. Albert. Lessons focus on healthy sound production, music literacy, and classical or contemporary techniques.
Susan has taught jazz and musical theatre singers, classical singers, pop, rap and metal singers to understand and use their voices.
Experienced singers and beginners are welcomed, including beginners who think they can’t learn to sing.

In addition to her teaching practice, Susan enjoys performing for musical theatre and opera productions, and for choruses within Edmonton.
Performance history includes appearances with Edmonton Co-OPERAtive, Edmonton Opera Chorus, Trinity Players, Two One Way Tickets to Broadway, Excentrica Womens’ Chorus, Schola Cantorum Womens’ Chorus, Alberta College Adult Musical Theatre Ensemble.
Susan holds an ARCT in Vocal Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto. She maintains ongoing certification study through Estill Voice International's Model - this is a universally respected body of knowledge, developed in an academic research setting by Jo Estill, that helps singers to understand and use the voice.
